Informative/helpful resource sites include:

futurepedia.io & futuretools.io are both websites that contain vast, organized lists of links to available AI software tools. On both, you can sort by free programs. Without these sites I was unaware of how accessible so many sites with different AI tools would be.

paperswithcode.com This website contains well over 50,000 research papers and compares itself with Wikipedia. This is a great site to browse research articles and view data. It is also stated that visitors can contribute as well.

artificialintelligence-news.com This is a news site with articles about AI. It has articles focused on business, laws, robotics, and you can select to filter for news about more specific subject matters.

huggingface.co This site references vast amounts of AI code, and hosts APIs such as this one using Stable Diffusion. There are many APIs that function in the browser without installation, spanning multimedia and text.

replicate.com Just like Hugging Face, this site hosts APIs and models for generating and manipulating text, image, and video and text.

TensorFlow This is free to use software and GPU power from Google, they have a neural network simulator that is interactive and useful for learning how neural networks function.

DeepMind This is the main site of DeepMind, owned by Google since 2014. They have resources for learning about AI, a blog with a variety of topics in tandem with their technology, and information about the current state of how the technology is being used in the real world.

OpenAI This is main site of OpenAI, known for for the DALL-E which generates images based on text, and the GPT models, with the third model being licensed by Microsoft in 2020.
